Built for maritime business relationships that outlast the event.
My Maritime Radar brings companies, professionals, events and trusted maritime signals into one structured network — and keeps the relationships working after the exhibition hall empties.
Why this exists
Anyone who has supplied a cruise newbuild or a refit knows the pattern. You meet the right person at a trade fair, exchange cards, and six months later the project is live but the contact has moved, the card is gone, and nobody remembers who handled which scope. The industry runs on relationships it has no reliable way to keep.
The information problem is just as ordinary. Finding out which company actually does cabin furniture, who holds which certification, which yard they have delivered to, and who to talk to there takes days of asking around — and the answer lives in one person's memory rather than anywhere you can look it up.
My Maritime Radar is an attempt to fix both with one product: a directory you can actually search, and a network that remembers the connection.
Who is behind it
My Maritime Radar is independently built in Istanbul by a maritime professional working across architecture, marine interior outfitting and furniture manufacturing. The product grows from direct experience of cabin and living-quarters supply for newbuild and refurbishment projects. Shipbuilding contract structures, IMO and MED certification, SFI classification and cruise supply chains are part of the work behind the product.
It is built from the supplier's side of the table, which is why the directory is organised around what a company can actually deliver rather than around marketing copy.
What it does
Find relevant maritime companies and professionals, understand the event context around them, save the ones worth following up, and continue the relationship after the exhibition ends. News and company records are open to everyone; the network side opens with membership.
How access works
Discovery and contact are deliberately separate. Company information is public. Members control their own professional visibility and introduction preferences, and messaging only opens once a connection or meeting request has been accepted. There is no cold outreach on this platform, by design.
What this platform will not do
A directory is only worth using if you can trust what is in it. So, plainly:
- No invented members, no padded member counts, no manufactured activity.
- A company appearing in the directory is not a customer, a member or an endorsement — listings are marked as independent records until a company representative is approved.
- “Claimed” and “verified” mean different things and are shown separately. A company claiming its profile does not make its data verified.
- Nobody's purchasing intent is guessed at or inferred. A project reference is not a tender.
- Where a fact comes from a public source, the source is shown so you can check it yourself.
Closed beta
The platform is in closed beta and membership currently requires an invitation. Coverage is still uneven and the product will keep changing as real maritime users put it to work. If something is wrong or missing, telling us is genuinely useful at this stage.
